The ultimate goal of our education is not only to improve students' academic skills but also to teach them to face any of life's challenges, to instill in them the self-confidence to communicate with people from all walks of life and to foster enthusiasm for learning through many kinds of activities and experiences at Sonoda Gakuen Junior and Senior High School.

Students have the benefit of a varied array of experiences throughout their scholastic career here. From an agricultural home-stay in rural Japan and visiting New Zealand in Junior High School, to participating in a cultural event in Hawaii or taking in the sights in Vancouver, Canada in Senior High School, students will gain invaluable knowledge and understanding of society both locally and globally.

At the Senior High School level, students have the option of applying to enter one of our two programs: the General Studies program or the Advanced Studies program. These choices are offered so that our students may endeavor to follow the path they feel will best help them to attain their goals and realize their dreams. In order to help our students set and achieve their goals, we at Sonoda Gakuen Senior High School, provide academic and career guidance to counsel them both with regard to their time here and with regard to their futures. We encourage every girl to decide her future career by and for herself.
